This is the official web site of the Nigeria @ 50 Golden Anniversary celebrations, specially dedicated to celebrating fifty years of Nigeria’s Independence in the United Kingdom. Our objective is to add to your knowledge of our great country, Nigeria, and the great Nigerians in the United Kingdom and friends of Nigeria who have made fantastic contributions in their various industries, professions and habitats since 1960.

We also aim to update you on the events planned to celebrate this golden year, as well as to seek your involvement in ensuring the successes of the various events. We seek your contributions in highlighting and nominating outstanding Nigerians for our upcoming Awards Night and the Golden Anniversary Commemorative Publication.
